A bored, ambitious housewife and her husband suddenly find a suitcase stuffed with cash tossed into their car. While he wants to do the right thing, she becomes obsessed with keeping the money, drawing in shady strangers and setting off a tense chain of betrayal, close calls, and escalating violence.
