The Death of Louis XIV

After a walk leaves him with severe leg pain, an aging French monarch tries to keep up appearances as fever, sleeplessness, and weakness take hold. Confined to his bed, he’s surrounded by anxious relatives, devoted attendants, and doctors whose remedies offer little comfort as his condition steadily worsens.
