Nuestros Muertos follows a family in Oaxaca de Juárez, México through Día de los Muertos, as they mourn the passing and celebrate the life of a recently deceased loved one. Leobardo Daniel-Vasquez has lost a father, Guille Pacheco-Vasquez has lost a husband. Together, they traverse the emotions and traditions that make Dia de los Muertos so special to the Mexican people. The film follows the preparation and celebrations of the Day of the Dead and gives us an alternative perspective on death.
