A newspaper reporter discovers a crashed spaceship and takes in its lone survivor, an alien trying to avoid attention. Posing as the reporter’s “uncle,” the visitor uses unusual abilities while working to repair the ship and find a way back home, all while close calls and everyday misunderstandings pile up.
