A Scanner Darkly

In a near-future drug crackdown, an undercover officer gets pulled into the orbit of a powerful new substance while living among users under constant surveillance. As paranoia and confusion build, the line between the job and personal reality starts to blur, and a sense of self becomes harder to hold onto.
