Director Edward D. Wood Jr.

The legendary cult debut of Ed Wood, famously dubbed the worst director of all time, featuring Bela Lugosi as a mysterious scientist narrating from his armchair. A police inspector investigating a tragedy hears the story of Glen, a man who secretly dresses as Glenda and struggles to tell his fiancée the truth. Made in 1953, when few films dared to touch the subject, it is a strange, sincere, and utterly one-of-a-kind midnight-movie classic. Free with ads.
