In the early 1970s, a young English mother leaves behind a stifling life and travels to Morocco with her two small daughters. As they drift through unfamiliar streets and new friendships, the family searches for meaning and belonging while juggling money worries, culture shock, and the push-pull between freedom and responsibility.
