In a hidden commune on the edge of a failing city, a young boy is raised under a magnetic leader who teaches the children to live off the land—and to carry out violence. As a new baby arrives and doubts grow, the boy resists the leader’s control, pushing the fragile community toward a dangerous breaking point.
