In this ACTION/DRAMA, RON, PATRICK, and CREEP are three hard working guys who have never had luck on their side. After a decade of long days filled with too much manual labor and too little education, our three anti-heroes have found themselves at a dead end in ‘Nowhere-ville,’ with no hope to escape. Well into their thirties with nothing to show for it except their tight friendship, they encounter a single moment that will positively change their lives forever. Or will it? After a long day of construction and trying not to spend their hard earned money, the trio skips getting a motel room for the evening. Heading home with tired eyes, they stumble upon the proverbial ticket out of their dull existence. They discover an overturned van deep in a ravine. Inside the van lie three DEAD MEN and duffle bags full of money. With hardly any reception to dial 9-1-1, the men start to fantasize about how their wishes could become a reality. Ron can ‘tip the WAITRESS appropriately’; Patrick can man up and finally propose to MARIA; and Creep can pay for the surgery that his MOTHER desperately needs. After deliberating, they decide that it’s finder’s keepers. The men agree to lay low and not spend the money in order to see if the AUTHORITIES or anyone else might try to claim the ‘lost property.’ A lack of discipline sways each man to start spending the money, which piques the interest of some LOCALS. As the men break their agreement with each other, they dig themselves into a deeper hole that eventually leads them into the cross hairs of both the authorities and a menacing DRUG LORD. Throughout the chaos, money tests their character and greed tests their friendship. In the end, we are left with one conclusion: an honest day’s work is the only way to achieve the American Dream.
