In a small town in 1998, a truck- driving good ol’ boy tosses out his gay teenage son. When John learns his son may have been killed by a serial killer preying on the boys of the streets, he is faced with the harsh reality and guilt of his bad choices. He must find his son, entering the abyss of street life in Hollywood, not even knowing if the boy is dead or alive. A series of events leaves John broke and on the streets with the gay boys trying to survive. He becomes friends with several. Armond, a cute 16-year- old boy from Mexico struggling to survive, becomes his friend and guide on the streets when John helps him after a trick beat him up and took his money. He also meets Julia, an attractive 30-year- old social worker who helps him search for his son. When John’s son David is finally spotted, he’s in immediate danger: he is in the car with the killer. A chase down Santa Monica Boulevard ends with a gun battle. The killer dies, but David disappears. Julia searches for David to bring him to his father.
