A New York Times Critics Pick. Every night on Broadway, actors wait in the wings in full costume, ready to replace the star at a moment's notice, and hoping the audience never sees them. This funny, heartbreaking documentary follows three standbys chasing a lead role of their own, with stories from stars who once waited in the wings themselves. Free with ads.
